Drunken poetry, Nov 19th
Dreaming
A single voice, rising,
Growing, changing, becoming,
Breaking the tide,
It begins.
Billions of miles from somewhere,
A thousand steps from here,
Two hundred paces from hope,
A dozen inches from now,
A single glance from me.
Echoing into the darkness, it calls,
Alone, yearning,
Reaching upwards, and then,
Nothing.
In flames, it goes on,
Breaching, breaking
Time stands still, everything passes
All that remains is life.
It calls to me,
But I cannot answer back.
Doomed to observe, nothing more
And when the lights go out, behold,
The worst sight of all.
This is how it ends,
Not with a great fall,
Nor a violent exp

Just got back from a buddy's, playing a game of warhammer 40k. (for those who don't know it, it's a dice-rolling table top strategy game). I think I might have an idea for a story from how it played out lol
For those who care how the game went:
BATTLE REPORT LOL
2000 points of imperial guard vs 2000 of emperor's children
The dice decided we were playing for D3+2 objective markers and must capture them (w/e the game name is called, rolled a 1)
**Note that this is my buddy's first game playing with the 5th edition of the rules** THIS IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW.
I win the roll for deploy my army and go first, I put down my guard. 145 infantry, 6
Give me a bit. I've got to come up with some more ideas...
WAIT!
I just came up with one right now!
Hey, why don't I send you the lineart for that sketch that I have in my scraps for you to colour? I'll touch it up a bit here and there and then I'll mail it over to you when I am done. Give me until Sunday and it should be done.
